Just under a year ago, Scottish quartet Twin Atlantic released their magnificent debut album onto the world, entitled Free. This record is full of huge sounding rock songs with big hooks, even bigger choruses with plenty of riffs and strong melodies throughout! I felt the need to tell all of those that have yet to hear this brilliant record that you can get it on iTunes at the moment for the crazy price of £3.99! Now that is silly cheap! I’m sure your’ll have heard the singles by now; Edit Me, Time to Stand Up and Free were all huge hits of last year in the world of rock and recent single Make A Beast Of Myself has been doing the rounds nicely on radio stations across the globe. So do yourself a favour and go find out what all the fuss is about! GO BUY FREE! INVEST IN TWIN ATLANTIC! mcTRUST ME!
Another good video for another hit from the mighty scot rockers that are Twin Atlantic. It’s called A Beast Of Myself and I believe is the fourth single from their excellent debut LP Free. Some might say it is a beast. The Chorus is pretty huge.
Back in 2009, Scott rock outfit Twin Atlantic made quite an impression on critics and rock fan’s with a passionate, uplifting and majestic set of songs in the form of debut mini-album Vivarium. Two years on and the Glaswegian quartet are back bigger and bolder on their first full length effort Free; a completley epic and rather eclectic rock record that has many different tones and shades. It’s anthemic (Edit Me/ Free/ Time For You To Stand Up), gracious (Yes, I Was Drunk/ Wonder Sleeps Here/ Crash Land) and straight-up rocking (The Ghost Of Eddie/ Eight Days/ We Want Better, Man). Free is a record all about soaring melodies, sky scrapping chrouses with twice the amount of passion, engergy and majesty is bound to put Twin Atlantic up there as one of the UK’s finest new rock bands!
